Introduction

WeTriba GmbH & Co.KG (WeTriba) takes the privacy rights of users of the service on the website www.tribaspace.com (hereinafter referred to as: Tribaspace or Service) very seriously and are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated in and subject to the Terms of Use (see above).
By using the Tribaspace, namely by
(i) logging on, or
(ii) requesting access to a guest list or a BrandSpace,
you expressly agree to the use of your Personal Information (as defined below) in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this use, please do not use the Tribaspace or any of the services offered on Tribaspace.

Who is WeTriba?

Any Personal Information you provide to WeTriba is processed and, insofar as permitted, held by WeTriba GmbH & Co. KG, a company registered in Germany at the commercial registry of Berlin (HRA 42576 B). The registered office is Raumerstrasse 36a, 10437 Berlin, Germany. WeTriba is located at Choriner Strasse 3, 10119 Berlin, Germany.

Personal Information

“Personal Information” means any singular information on personal or factual affairs of an identified or identifiable person. In particular, this is information about you which is personally identifiable which may include (but might not be limited to) your name, age, gender, address, telephone number, email address, financial details and any other information from which you can be identified and which you may disclose to WeTriba or otherwise via Tribaspace at any time.

When does WeTriba collect your Personal Information?

WeTriba may collect and process Personal Information when:

1. You provide Account Information when you register or sign in to your user account with WeTriba in order to use the Service;
2. You make a complaint or enquiry or provide feedback to WeTriba; or
3. You voluntarily disclose Personal Information to WeTriba or through Tribaspace at any point.

We will indicate where the provision of Personal Information is optional. If you choose not to provide such Personal Information you may find that some services or use of features of Tribaspace are unavailable to you.

How does WeTriba use your Personal Information?

You expressly agree that WeTriba may use your Personal Information in the following ways:

1. To process the registration and maintain the use of your account;
2. To process payment;
3. To allow you to participate in the Service, i.e. to receive information about events in your area or to inform you of changes to any of these services.
4. For marketing purposes, namely to analyze the quality of service and usage in order to make improvements to the site.

In those cases where your consent is required to use your Personal Information (i.e. where WeTriba is not allowed to use your Personal Information on grounds of a legal provision) you are free to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us (see below). Please note, however, that you may not be able to access all services provided on Tribaspace.

Does WeTriba share your Personal Information with third parties?

WeTriba does not sell the Personal Information to other parties or share Personal Information with other parties.There are only two exceptions:

1. WeTriba may share the Personal Information with service providers who will be provided with as much information as is necessary to fulfill their services. Thiose service providers will not share the information with other third parties and who are bound by applicable data protection law. ) You are free to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us (see below). Please note, however, that you may not be able to access all services provided on Tribaspace if you do so.
2. WeTriba may share the Personal Information with police, regulatory bodies or legal advisers in connection with any alleged criminal offence or suspected breach of the Terms of User.

How do you edit and delete your account information and preferences?

You can edit your account information and preferences at any time.

How long does WeTriba hold Personal Information for?

We only hold Personal Information for as long as is necessary for the purposes described above in the paragraph headed “How does WeTriba use Personal Information?”

How does WeTriba protect Personal Information?

WeTriba employs all industry standard practices and has strict security procedures covering the collection, storage and disclosure of Personal Information in order to prevent unauthorized access and to comply with relevant German and European data protection laws.

All Personal Information you provide to WeTriba is stored on secure servers.
Where WeTriba has given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of Tribaspace, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

What are cookies and how does WeTriba use them?

A cookie is a small amount of information which is sent to your browser from a website's computers and stored on your computer's hard drive.

This tracking device helps WeTriba to improve Tribaspace and to deliver a better and more personalized service. They enable WeTriba to: (a) estimate WeTriba's audience size and usage pattern; (b) store information about your preferences, and so allow WeTriba to customize Tribaspace according to your individual interests; and (c) recognize you when you return to Tribaspace.

You may refuse to accept cookies by activating the setting on your browser which allows you to refuse the setting of cookies. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of Tribaspace. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you log on to Tribaspace.

A publicly accessible area of Tribaspace is any area that is accessible by the general public and may be indexed by search engines. You are solely responsible for any Personal Information that you disclose and disseminate on publicly accessible areas. You should never disclose Personal Information relating to any other person without their express consent.

Tribaspace may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please remember: All Personal Information which you receive from third parties (including but not limited to names and e-mail addresses submitted for event listing guest lists) must be treated in accordance with applicable data protection law. When in doubt, personal data must be deleted without delay after the intended use of their submission has expired.
